TRS Magnum FIA Rally Harness Pack
These are brand new FIA approved harnesses with homologation, and are labelled accordingly.
Fully FIA Approved for track and road use. FIA approval is for 5 years from the end of the year purchased. For example, if purchased on 1st Feb they would be approved for 11 months of the current year plus a further 5 years. Road Use Approval: Reference: Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) inspection Manual; Passenger vehicles (M1) dated May 2023. Page 228 clearly states: Note 1: A British Standard Part 1 1988 or evidence of FIA approval for a harness belt is acceptable.
The TRS Magnum Rally Pack is perfect for new build rally cars or for driver's upgrading out of date harnesses.
The Magnum Rally Pack contains two of our basic 75mm (3") lap and shoulder, FIA approved 8853:2016 saloon harness which are suitable for most rally cars. The HANS/FHR friendly harnesses have steel anti-creep adjusters and snap hook fixings all round. The shoulder straps can be wrapped around the roll cage if required.
The second part of the Rally Pack is a colour coded helmet hammock which attaches to the roll bar and holds two helmets. Its great for protecting helmets during stages. The new mesh centre is tangle free and ideal for Peltor intercoms.
The next item included in the Rally Pack is a very useful small map pocket measuring 29cm x 18cm and is perfect for tidying away navigation maps and documents. The map pocket is supplied complete with fitting clips.
Also included in the Rally Pack is a colour coded fixed spare wheel strap. The spare wheel strap is fully adjustable, which makes it easy to use if you have to change a punctured tyre on a stage quickly.
The final part of the Rally Pack is a blue 4 metre tow rope. The tow rope is rated at 5000kg and has hook fixings at both ends.
Available in standard colours Red, Blue and Black. Please note that the 4m tow rope is only avaiable in blue and can not be colour coded for red or black rally packs.

Shoulder Straps
- Standard length shoulder straps are approximately 150cm from the adjuster to the fixing point
- Short shoulder version straps are approximately 90cm from the adjuster to the fixing point
- The adjustment range of the lower shoulder strap is between 10cm and 40cm
- If you plan to fix the shoulder straps in place by wrapping them around a roll bar we would recommend going with the standard length shoulder straps as you will need approximately 50cm of excess webbing to wrap around securely
- The fixings at the end of the shoulder straps are not sewn on, and can easily be removed if you plan to wrap the shoulder straps around a roll bar

Webbing Colour
TRS Harnesses are available in 3 different webbing colours: Red, Blue, and Black.
Thread Colour
As standard, TRS Harnesses are stitched using the same colour thread as the webbing, but contrasting colours are also available. There are 9 different thread colours available: Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Green, Grey/Silver, Orange, Pink, and Miami Blue.
Short Shoulder Straps
A short shoulder version is available, which are approximately 90cm from the adjuster to the fixing point, compared to 150cm as standard.

With these harnesses we offer some optional extras for your comfort and safety, which you can select using the dropdown boxes above.
A pair of TRS Shoulder Pads are available in three colours: black, red, and blue. They simply attach with velcro around the shoulder strap area of the harness, for added comfort for the wearer. They will be provided in the appropriate size for the harness you choose.
Also available is a TRS Webbing Cutter, for use in case of emergencies. This is a knife for a driver, passenger or marshal to cut through harnesses and webbing in the event of an accident, to quickly release the wearer and avoid being trapped in the car. The cutter meets the MSA Blue Book requirement which states "Belt cutter(s) must be carried on board at all times", so it's a must-have when racing.
