The Cobra Daytona seat is one of the finest reclining sport seats that money can buy. The Daytona provides supportive yet comfortable seating for an enhanced driving experience. Higher side and shoulder bolsters give you the support of a bucket sport seat, whilst the reclining seat functions give you the convenience of being able to adjust your seat to a position that suits you.

If you want to use a 4 point harness with your Daytona seat, the integrated harness slots allow for this. It will work just as well with your original seat belts if that's what you prefer.

Piping is available on this seat, as an optional extra. Piping is a small strip of extra vinyl material sewn along the edge seams of the seat. Usually this is the same colour as the vinyl on the rest of the seat, but can also be made in a contrasting colour for an extra charge.

These seats are optionally available with lower side bolsters on the seat base - known as a Jensen base.

Runners

These seats can be base mounted, which means they have threaded holes for mounting on the bottom of the seat - 2 on each side. Often the seat will be bolted onto seat runners to allow the seat to be adjusted backwards and forwards. Cobra's Premium Low Profile Seat Runners are available to select with the dropdown box above. They include all the mounting hardware necessary.

An embossed logo is available as an optional extra, replacing the standard embroidered Cobra logo. This is a more subtle option, pressed into the material with a custom made stamp. This option is only available on leathers.

As an optional extra, seat heaters can be installed. They are pre-fitted in the seat, and come with everything you need to install them in your vehicle - wiring, a relay, switch, and drilling template. Installation is easy, and just involves connecting to a 12V supply and finding a location to mount the switch (the example image above shows the switch mounted in original equipment interior plastic). An instruction manual is provided and can be viewed online here. Please note that it is not designed to integrate with the original equipment wiring.

This Cobra Daytona Reclining Seat can be fitted by a competent enthusiast or at a professional workshop.
